of customer counting technology and statistics to
both the retail and retail property sectors.
Silversleaves re-developed the data-warehouse
used by Footfall Interactive to produce enterprise
level reports. The data-warehouse was updated from
Oracle8i running on a NT4 platform to Oracle9i running
on a Linux Redhat Advanced Server configuration. The
full range of technologies available were utilised
including: Star Tranformation, Binary Indexes, historical
Partitioning, Parallel Query, Materialized Views and
Query re-write. We developed a new ETL, and Business
Objects Universe. The end result was a functionally
richer, state of the art and highly optimised system.
